Graduate of the master’s program “Otvorený ateliér maľby” under Mgr. art. Rastislav Podoba, ArtD. at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica.

Biografia

Miro Sandanus has a series of successful solo and group exhibitions behind him, primarily in Slovak cities such as Žilina, Dolný Kubín, Bratislava, Banská Štiavnica, Trenčín, Nitra, and many others. He has also presented his work abroad in group exhibitions in Paris, Cologne, and Venice. He is a five-time finalist of the “Maľba roka” competition (2020 – 2024), where he placed 3rd in 2020 and finally won first place in 2024 with the painting “SAFE”. In 2022, he became the laureate of the Martin Benka Award. Currently, he lives and works in Žilina.
